Family Vacation Continued

 Our friend Terri came over to see us, it was so nice to visit with her. Wish we would have had more time to visit.

 Papa had a birthday! We picked up an icecream cake from Dairy Queen, it was really good :)

                                        Mason got a new bike for his birthday! He loves it!

On Friday morning we loaded our stuff into the rental car and started our road trip back to Houston TX. Our first stop was in Lawrence KS, we met with Great Gma Linda and Great Gpa Daniel at Culvers. We had some lunch, the kids had some ice cream and we had a nice visit. The kids cousins were visiting their grandparents so it was nice to see them also.

From there we continued on our trip and made a stop in Salina KS. There we stayed at a hotel with Aunts and Cousins. It was really great to see everyone and Mason had a blast with his cousin Kai.

 Saturday evening we met Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Smith at a braums and visited over ice cream, later we followed them back to their home in Hesston KS.

When we were getting ready to head out Sunday morning Mason went to hug great grandpa and he wanted to be carried. I told him there is no way he can carry you anymore you are too big, so this is great grandpa trying to pick Mason up.

Sunday we drove to Norman OK, visited with friends and the kids visited their dad.

Monday the kids went to breakfast with their dad then we went to play group so they could play with their friends and prepare to spend the rest of the day in the car.

We stopped at Chick fil a for a late lunch and to let the kids run around for a little while. We made it back home around 8pm. It was a great vacation! Miss my family and friends already but happy to be home and out of the car :)

We saw a rainbow on the drive home.
